Masaaki NAKATANI

Masaaki Nakatani is a tall, muscular man with black hair and brown eyes. He is the coach of the Seirin High School basketball team. He is a strict and demanding coach, but he also cares deeply for his players. He is a master strategist and motivator, and he is always looking for ways to improve his team's game. Nakatani was born in a small town in Japan. He grew up playing basketball, and he was always a natural athlete. He was offered a scholarship to play basketball at a university in Tokyo, but he turned it down in order to pursue a career in coaching. Nakatani started his coaching career at a small high school in Tokyo. He quickly earned a reputation as a hard-nosed coach who demanded excellence from his players. He led his team to the state championship game, but they lost in the final seconds. After the season, Nakatani was offered a job at Seirin High School. He accepted the job, and he has been the coach of the Seirin team ever since. Nakatani has led the Seirin team to the national championship game three times. They have won the championship twice. Nakatani is considered one of the best coaches in Japan.
